Peanut had her baby! It's a colt! He is amazing! He loves people, loves to be petted and learns very quickly! About 2 weeks ago, 3/19, I looked out the window and he was out there standing up! I went out and rubbed him all over, and got him used to being handled.
Peanut is a great mother! She will let him run around and let me do things with him, but she keeps a sharp eye on him!
So far, he has learned to pick up his feet, and most of the time will let me lead him around. He will also let me rub almost anywhere on his body and not mind, although there are a few spots we are still working on. I think he's ticklish. =)
We are in the final stages of deciding a name. I really like Asher, and runners up are Levi, Echo, Banner, and a few others.
These pictures are about an hour after he was born. He has already grown a lot, so I'll post some more pictures soon!

Hi Susan,
I found your blog through your daughter's facebook. She's friends with some kids we know through debate here. It's great to catch up with you and see your place. It sounds wonderful. Dec 2008 we moved from Mechanicsville to Beaverdam which is 10 miles north west of Ashland to the country also - 15 acres. My daughter is raising chickens and ducks.
